Angela spread some early festive cheer throughout her constituency as she visited the winners of her annual Christmas Card Competition.

In the run up to the festive period, Angela invites schools in Ashton, Drolysden and Failsworth to produce a design that will be made into her official Christmas card.

After sifting through hundreds of entries, the overall winner was four-year-old Isabella Roberts from South Failsworth Primary School in Paddock Lane.

The runners up were Amber-May Schofield from Parochial C of E Primary School in Ashton and James Ellis from Greenside Primary School in Droylsden.

Angela said: “School visits are most definitely the best bit of my job and it was wonderful to present Isabella, Amber-May and James with prizes for their wonderful Christmas card designs. I will be very proud to send these cards to my colleagues at Westminster, councillors, local businesses, schools, friends and family. I would like to give huge thanks to all the children who took part in the competition and spent time working on their designs. I really enjoyed seeing them all and it was really hard to narrow it down to just three.”
