Angela will welcome Labour stalwart Lord Prescott to Ashton for a fundraising dinner in March.

Lord Prescott, who served as Deputy Prime Minister from 1997 to 2007 and represented Hull East for 40 years, will join Angela at The Village Hotel in Pamir Drive on Friday, 1^st March.

He retired as an MP at the 2010 election after which he entered the House of Lords as a life peer with the title Baron Prescott, of Kingston upon Hull in the County of East Yorkshire.

Tickets for the event, which starts at 7pm, are £25. As well as a three course meal there will be entertainment and a raffle.
