Angela was delighted to welcome former Deputy Prime Minister Lord Prescott to her constituency for a fabulous evening of fundraising fun.

Labour Party members and supporters enjoyed a three course dinner at the Village Hotel in Ashton followed by a rousing speech from Lord Prescott about the changing face of politics and why it’s more important than ever to support the Labour Party.

The evening was compered by comedienne Nina Gilligan and guests were able to win fantastic prizes in a raffle and at an auction led by Angela and fellow MPs Jonathan Reynolds, Mike Kane and Mike Amesbury.

The night raised £3,600 for Angela’s election campaign fund.
