As the local elections draw ever closer, Angela has been using every spare minute she has to get out on the campaign trail to make sure Labour candidates win seats on Tameside and Oldham Councils.

In Oldham, Paul Jacques is fighting to retain control of Failsworth East while Elaine Garry hopes to keep her seat in Failsworth West.

In Tameside, seats are being fought by Jean Drennan (Waterloo), Mike Glover (Ashton Hurst), David McNally (Ashton St Peter’s), Yvonne Cartey (Ashton St Michael’s), Laura Boyle (Droylsden East) and Ann Holland (Droylsden West).
