Angela joined local activists, residents and ward councillors in Waterloo ward as they came together to stop construction work on an area of much-loved green space.

Councillors Pauline Hollinshead and Vimal Choksi have been helping those unhappy with plans to build homes on land off Grove Street.

Angela said: “The backfield is a valuable and popular local amenity. Green space is vital in our communities to give children a safe place to play and to enhance community well-being. I wanted residents to know they have my support in their bid to stop contractors entering the site to start building.”
