Angela is delighted to support this year’s Great Get Together in memory of the late Jo Cox MP this weekend.

Angela said: “All across the country, and especially in Ashton-under-Lyne, communities have come together during this crisis.

“That is why I want you to join me in celebrating the power of community for this year’s Great Get Together, whether that’s by sharing a cup of tea and chat with a neighbour, joining together to clean up the street, or sending a card or a letter to someone who might need a boost.

“Your get together – big or small – will play an important part in building a kinder, more compassionate society.

“I would love to hear each of your ideas and plans. Community makes us and we make our communities.”
