Angela Rayner MP Representing the communities of Ashton-under-Lyne, Droylsden and Failsworth.
Angela is encouraging her constituents to participate in a research project to determine how the pandemic has affected families who live with dementia.
Just under 3,000 people in Tameside have dementia and this is predicted to rise by 39% by 2030. Worryingly, the NHS estimates that 680 people in Tameside are currently undiagnosed dementia sufferers which means they are unable to access the help and support they need.
The All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on dementia are searching for those affected by the condition to share their thoughts to help shape future policy.
