Angela visited Guide Bridge Train Station in Audenshaw to meet volunteers who devote their free time to making the station a pleasant place for visitors.

The Friends of Guide Bridge group contacted Angela after a spate of vandalism last month.

Planters they dad installed for the jubilee had been kicked over leaving a trail of destruction on the platform.

Angela said: “It was great to meet the volunteers and see all their hard work at the station. I am so proud of their dedication and their determination to not let the vandals get them down.”
