Angela was invited to meet representatives from the Football Foundation and the Premier League at Tameside Stadium, the home of Curzon Ashton, to hear about how they support the local community through grassroots football initiatives.

Angela said: “It was great to meet Robert and Nick to find out how they support the excellent work our local football clubs do.

“Curzon Ashton run some brilliant sessions including foorball camps for kids in the school holidays and walking football for older people. They also do a lot of work with our veterans such as cooking classes and veg growing in allotments.

“I am proud to represent such a community minded football club as their local MP.”
