Angela was delighted to be asked to officially open the new outdoor terrace at Ashton Cricket Club ahead of the final match of the season.

Alongside Tameside Council Leader Ged Cooney and Local Councillors Joyce Bowerman and Vimal Choksi, Angela cut the ribbon before ringing the bell to start the game.

She said: “I was delighted to support the club in their application to create this terrace and it’s wonderful to see their exciting vision come to life.”
