Angela marked Holocaust Memorial Day 2025 by signing the Book of Commitment in Parliament.
This Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi concentration camp complex, and the 30th anniversary of the genocide in Bosnia.
Last November, Angela visited Canon Burrows CofE Primary in Ashton to see what work pupils had been doing to prepare for HMD 2025.
She said: “We can learn both from and about the Holocaust and more recent genocides, for a better future.”
